Abstract

The adsorption of nitrobenzene in activated C was investigated by NMR. Because of the short relaxation times and C is an elec. conducting material, a specially adapted NMR setup was used. During the adsorption process the nitrobenzene profiles can be scaled using the Boltzmann transformation and the overall effective diffusivity can be approximated by an exponential function of the nitrobenzene content
