Abstract

This chapter reports on research activities that aimed to develop and evaluate
curriculum materials to teach general relativity to upper secondary students
in the Netherlands. On the basis of design-based research methods,
the chapter puts particular focus on the design of the learning materials as
well as students’ responses to them.
