Abstract

The overview of the accomplishments of of the project delivering ozone products in near real-time (NRT) to the users was presented. The operational NRT ozone profile retrieval for use in weather forecasting is found to benefit from assimilation of stratospheric ozone profiles. The NRT ozone products of the project are retrieved from specific segments of the full spectrum contained in the files. The largest gain in calculation time was made by using a two-stream approximation for multiple scattering
