Abstract

The paper discusses the near-field (NF) testing of the Electronically Despun Antenna (EDA) of the Meteosat satellite. The NF facility has been set upin 1976 and has been reactivated for the testing of the EDA antenna of Meteosat for the Operational Program. Dedicated software (by Ticra) has also been re-activated for the processing of the NF data. Some examples are given after a short description of the antenna, the software and the facility.
