Multi-hop dynamic routing in an integrated 4x4 space and wavelength select cross-connect

Abstract

We demonstrate the first dynamic routing through an integrated 4x4 space and wavelength cross-connect. Multipath routing through all four wavelength selective switches is presented employing multiple hops. Switching speed of less than 2ns is measured.
