Abstract

We investigate the induced voltage due to a wire with stochastic geometry above a perfectly conducting ground plane excited by an incident plane wave. An integral equation method together with the method of moments is applied to account for the full details of the scattering problem. We compute the mean and variance of the induced voltage by means of a Monte-Carlo method. Further, we discuss the convergence rate of the Monte-Carlo method with respect to the ensemble of geometries.
