Modelling thermorheologically complex phenomena in the post-yield response of glassy polymers

Abstract

In previous work we developed a constitutive model that accurately captures the large-strain deformation of polymers glasses that behave thermorheologically simple. In the present study this mathematical framework is extended to cover the combined contribution of two molecular processes resulting in a thermorheologically complex response.
