Abstract

This paper describes a building and plant energy simulation environment. Following an introductory domain overview, ESP-r is outlined in terms 0/ heat, fluid and power flow modelling approaches/or buildings and their plant systems, for connections to external energy supplies, and/or representing technologies to harness renewable sources such as solar energy. The system's current potential is demonstrated with case-study material. Finally some trends and directions/or future work are indicated.
