Modeling of non-cuboidal magnetic sources in 3-D fourier modeling

Abstract

The design of electromagnetic devices with 3-D geometries is a time consuming process. Especially the usage of finite element packages result in a large computational effort. To reduce the computational efforts, (semi-)analytical modeling techniques are used as an alternative. For periodic geometries, a harmonic modeling technique is the most suitable alternative modeling method.
