Abstract

In the mm-wave frequency bands, there are more frequency specturm resources compared to the sub-6 frequency band. From 10 GHz to 40 GHz, it covers K/Ka-band wireless communication applications, such as car radar application and mm-wave 5G application. Those applications also easily occupy GHz bandwidth for high data rate communication. In this work, the design methodology of a broadband application in the mmwave frequency is presented, and an mm-wave low noise amplifier is provided as a design case in a SiGe technology with more than 90% fractional bandwidth
