Abstract
Relative values of total collision cross sections are presented for Ar2, Ne2, and for a number of molecular dimers e.g. (N2)2, with noble gases as scattering partner. The results follow a universal curve if plotted versus {A figure is presented}?re1/?{lunate}Rm. From this plot the dimer van der Waals constant C6 is derived being about twice as large as for the monomer, for the heavy systems.
