Abstract
A transmission link comprising wavelength division multiplexing over 1mm core size step-index plastic optical fibre and up to 1.6m free space is demonstrated for indoor optical wireless communication. Throughputs of more than 2 Gbps has been achieved using 2 wavelengths and discrete multitone.
