Abstract

In this paper we present an interactive lightingand sound art installation designed for the elderly with dementialiving in an confined area in an elderly care center. Inspired bylighting and music therapies for dementia, as well as the socialand cultural activities of healthy elderly, the installation createssensory stimulation and natural atmosphere, aiming at bringingjoy and happiness to dementia elderly in a dull public space.
