Abstract
In principle, the characterization of polymers prepared in emulsion could be achieved by using approaches and techniques similar to those available for polymers in general. Special attention for products of emulsion polymerization, however, seems justified since emulsion polymers usually show a number of features, characteristic of their origin. Therefore, in this chapter, latex polymer
characterization will be considered in relation to the pertaining emulsion polymerization conditions.
