Abstract
Laser-induced fluorescence and excitation spectra of formaldehyde in theA–X 410 band at 370 nm are recorded in the primaryflame front of a Bunsen flame. An examination of partition functionsshows that this excitation can minimize temperature bias forformaldehyde in situ diagnostic measurements.
