Abstract
The La1,2 and Lb1 emission profiles of Fe, FeO, Fe3O4, Fe2O3, FeS, FeS2, FeF3, Mn, MnO, MnO2, and KMnO4 are investigated and peak energies related to the energy levels in the composite diagrams for these compds. The transition probabilities for valence-band electrons depend on the role of these electrons in the bands. [on SciFinder (R)]
