    This report forms the Technical report of Tanya Kudchadker from the Stan Ackermans Institute of Software Technology program of the Eindhoven University of Technology. The report is the result of the project titled "Investigation of a new TV User Interface architecture". In this report, the design and development process for the TV user Interface architecture is described. An introduction to the domain, the problem and the goal of the project is provided in Chapters 1, 2 and 3. The architectural decisions and designs have been described in Chapter 4. An overview of the project management methodologies followed is provided in chapter 5,6 followed by results and recommendations in chapter 7. The report targets audiences with a basic notion of modern software design and web technologies. The project was proposed and executed by Philips Consumer Lifestyle starting on January 1st 2012. On April 1st, 2012, Philips Consumer Lifestyle entered a joint venture with TPVision, a arrangement that that endows TPVision with controlling 70 percent stake. The newly formed company will produce Philips branded TVs. This project was carried out until September 30th, 2012.
