Abstract
This chapter provides an overview of and an introduction to the Handbook on Business Process Management and Digital Transformation. It first defines what is exactly meant by the terms Business Process Management and Digital Transformation in the context of this Handbook. Next, it explains the structure of the Handbook in terms of its six parts and the two or three chapters contained in each part. The content function of each part in the context of the entire Handbook is clarified and an overview is given of all chapters. This chapter continues with a summary of each of the six parts and the individual chapters in the respective parts. In doing so, it also indicates major content relations between chapters.
