InP photonic circuit for deep neural networks

Abstract

We perform weight addition of four 10 Gbit/s channels employing a photonic integrated indium phosphide chip based on semiconductor optical amplifiers technology. We demonstrate classification of classes of Iris flowers with an accuracy of 91.6%.
