Abstract

Requirements for advanced portable RF communication circuits include good performance at high signal frequencies, low power dissipation, and low cost. Since these circuits typically operate close to the feasibility limits, their performance is very dependent on the process in which the IC is implemented. This paper demonstrates this dependency using figures of merit.
