Abstract

Results of experiments are presented on the influence of high-energy pulses on iron and iron-manganese alloys with 3 and 18 wt.% Mn carried out using the plasma focus device PF-1000 with deuterium as working gas. Features of specimen surface damage and compositional changes in these specimens in three different regimes of irradation were investigated.
