Abstract
Inhibition of IFNa–IFNR: Interferon (IFN) is an important signaling molecule and antiviral therapeutic agent. However, in certain diseases like type I diabetes, IFN action can be harmful. Schneider and co-workers recently reported the identification of the first IFNa–IFNR inhibitor via in silico screening, which binds to IFNa and impedes interferon signaling in cells.
