Abstract

Monomer purifn. has been tailored to ensure reduced levels of fluorenone defects in the corresponding polyfluorene, which results in greater resistance to fluorescence degrdn. when exposed to high temps. and demonstrates pure blue, more stable electroluminescence. [on SciFinder (R)]
