Abstract

On most electrocatalysts H2O2 is an intermediate in the electroreduction ofoxygen. H2O2 can decompose either chemically or electrochemically and inassessing the performance of the electrocatalyst it is crucial to distinguish betweenthese reaction paths. A simple method is proposed to determine whetheror not the chemical path is followed.
