Abstract

Influences exerted by various additives, by changes in the water/solids ratio and by variations in C₃S/C₃A ratio at constant CaSO₄.2aq./C₃A ratio, are consistent with a retardation of the hydration of C₃A by local precipitation of amorphous Al(OH)₃.
