Abstract
The reasons for the inferior performance of the current building and their related energy systems are diverse and mainly caused by insufficient attention to the influence of occupant behaviour. The so called Human in the loop approach offers new opportunities to integrate the human behaviour in the control loop. To realize these goals an advanced control setup, based on the combination of ubiquitous low cost wireless sensors is being developed. The article describes the possibility to take the human as a leading principle in the comfort/energy process control on workplace and room/floor level. Two experiments are described to illustrate the approach.
