Abstract

IN a former publication1 the following expression was derived for the height equivalent to a theoretical plate (HETP), h, of a tubular column of radius r: where: v Combining double low line average carrier gas velocity; Dg Combining double low line molecular diffusion coefficient of component in the gas phase; Dl Combining double low line molecular diffusion coefficient of component in the liquid phase; k Combining double low line capacity ratio of liquid over gas phase; r Combining double low line radius of tubular column; K Combining double low line partition coefficient
