Abstract

A computer program was developed for calcn. of non-steady temp. fields in heat producing structures of different materials. The program was used to analyzed heat condition for a structure formed by a Teflon cap filled with acrylic cement. The calcd. results compared favorably with published (Meyer 1973) exptl. results. The results of these analyses on implanted bone cement can be used to develop criteria for modification and implantation techniques of the cement. [on SciFinder (R)]
