Goal-oriented adaptivity for coupled problems

    Abstract

    In this work we focus on the implications of the treatment of boundary conditions in goal-oriented adaptive methods for fluid-structure-interaction problems. We show that two distinct formulations that appear to be equivalent for the primal problem, can behave very differently for the dual problem.
