Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a FSK-WDM to IM-OTDM conversion system, based on a MZI wavelength converter. The FSK channels data rate is 500Mbps, while error and power penalty free conversion to 5Gbps IM-OTDM is reported. Operation at 10Gbps is also shown.
