Abstract

Quadrature amplitude modulation together with subcarrier multiplexing technique can be used to deploy multiple transmission channels within a passband of multimode fiber. We present experimental demonstration on simultaneous transmission of five subcarrier multiplexed quadrature amplitude modulation signals in a polymer optical fiber link. Results showed error free transmission for each subcarrier channel.
