Abstract

Conventionally, an SDM system requires a 4-port oscilloscope for each dual polarization mode. Using a novel and cheaper 2×4-port oscilloscope SDM receiver, 3-mode 28GBaud DP-32QAM is experimentally verified after 41.7km few-mode fiber transmission.
