Abstract
The invention relates to a fatty acid modified polyesteramide resin obtained from components comprising: i) at least one a, B - unsaturated diacid; ii) optionally at least one other diacid and/or anhydride; iii) at least one alkanol-amine; and iv) at least one fatty acid and/or fatty acid derivative; wherein the molar ratio of component iii): [component i) + component ii)] is in the range of from 1.2: 1.0 to 3.0: 1.0; and wherein component iv) is incorporated in the polyesteramide resin in the range of from 18 to 60 wt% based on the total weight of components i) to iv).
