Abstract

We experimentally assess the nonlinear tolerance of 10-Gb/s NRZ in a precompensated dispersion map. It is observed that even for relatively wide 100-GHz channel-spacing, XPM further reduces the nonlinear tolerance in contrast to periodically-compensated maps.
