Abstract

The leaf oil of Hexalobus monopetalus (Annonaceae) from Benin was analyzed by high resolution GC and GC/MS. Forty components were identified, representing more than 95% of the oiL The main constituents were geranial (37,9'lAl), neral (30,9%), linalool (35%), (E)-anethole (2.6%), selin-ll-en-4a-ol (25%) and caryophyllene oxide (2.4%).
