Abstract

A review. Emulsion polymn. is a type of radical polymn. that usually starts with an emulsion incorporating water, monomer, and surfactant. Mechanism, technique and process strategies all have an influence on rates of polymn. and characteristics of the formed polymer. We reviewed the general aspects, basic principles, technique, mechanism and process involved in emulsion polymn. And also presented an overview of the major ingredients involved in emulsion polymn., the morphol. of the obtained polymer latex and their application in various fields.
