Abstract

Co-polyimide nanofibers based on BPDA (3, 3′, 4, 4′-Biphenyltetracarboxylic dianhydride)/PDA (p-Phenylene-diamine)/ODA (4, 4′-Oxydianiline) are fabricated through electrospinning and imidization from its precursor polyamic acid (PAA). The resulting nanofiber bundles show high Young's moduli and tensile strengths of 38±0.3 GPa and 1630±15 MPa, respectively.
