Abstract
In collection storage buildings a strict indoor climate is often preferred. This is also required according to (inter)national legislation. E atrict climate asks for a very dedicated building, an effective climate system and a prescribed method of use. Such a depot uses a lot of energy and also maintanence can be costly. Over the years several concepts have been developed for (nearly) passive storage buildings. Recently a new concept has been added, which is based on a very specific building physics, based on how collections are being used. Climate systems are not needed at all.
