We describe a simple high-voltage measuring system which can be installed in open substations or under overhead lines. Three capacitive pick-up electrodes are used to sense the three phase to ground voltages. Since each sensor also has a parasitic capacitance to thetwo other phases, electronic or software unscrambling is necessary to retrieve the correctphase voltages. A differentiating/integrating measurement principle in combination with an EMC-cabinet gives the system excellent EMC-quality. Examples of measurements are presented.
