    Abstract

    In order to move their software development practices towards a model driven approach, ASML is creating a development environment that allows functional engineers to model software systems. The basis for visually defining models is an architectural pattern that separates Data, Control, and Algorithmic aspects. In this report I create a proof of concept for the modeling environment as well as the code generator for a specific component in this architectural pattern. The final deliverable is considered to be satisfactory enough to be further refined and
    industrialized.
