Abstract

In recent years, there has been an increasing demand for applications that improve the perceived comfort of our homes. This was mostly kickstarted by the rising costs of utilities like gas and power. A heated roller blind was developed aimed at reducing the cold draft which is felt around windows and thereby increase the perceived comfort. This results in less heating of the room.
