Abstract

The electrode system for the detection of boundary passages in electrophoresis is a part of the wall of the narrow electrophoretic tube, so that the effect of the electrodes on the concn. profiles and the interference of the electrodes with the application of electrolyte counterflow techniques are minimized. The resistance of the liq. between the electrodes can be measured by using either an a.c. or d.c. method. [on SciFinder (R)]
