Abstract

This technical report presents the design and experimental validation of closed loop diesel combustion control. Two control concepts investigated in the project are: next-cycle control and intra-cycle control. High level system design is provided for both the concepts. Implementation and experimental validation are performed for the next-cycle control algorithm.
