Abstract
Phased-array radar must provide a multifunction capability and offer a high degree of flexibility to the users. A broadband wide-scan phased array antenna with 4096 elements was designed and constructed. The array can be used over a wide frequency band of 0.3f0. The agreement between the measured and the predicted data is very good. In addition, the position errors of the array elements were measured. The additional RMS sidelobe level due to these errors is negligible.
