The part load performance is studied for a year in the Dutch climate. The leaving water and temperatures in design conditions are of great importance of the waterside performance and can result in an solely decreasing chilled water return temperature during part load. An ATES (Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage) is a common Dutch sustainable solution based on accumulation and requires understanding of the temperatures in part load conditions. Therefore, the temperature-duration curve is split in a temperature and mass part.
