Abstract
An effective potential for a three-component charged hard-spheres mixture is studied. The critical behavior of the effective potential, which is interpreted as ordering tendency, is discussed. Obtained results are applied to making estimates for the lattice parameters of the polysterene-water suspension. Qualitative agreement of theoretically predicted lattice parameters with the experimental values is demonstrated.
