Abstract
The essential oil obtained after hydrodistn. of the flower tops of C. odorata (yield 0.11%) afforded a-pinene (18.8%), b-cubebene (13%), and b-caryophyllene (10.2%) as the major constituents. The oil exhibited the following phys. properties: nD30: 1.503; [a]D29: -13.55 Deg
