Abstract

PET-steel interfaces were studied with FTIR. Differences in conformations of PET in free standing films and supported films in laminates are attributed to the presence of the PET-metal interface. These differences could be accentuated by varying the physical environment ie. by annealing or mechanically loading both free and supported films
