Abstract

The essential oil of the aerial parts of E. foetidum L. of Vietnamese origin was analyzed by a combination of GC and GC/MS. Nineteen components were identified, of which the major ones were (E)-2-dodecenal (45.5%) and 2-dodecenoic acid (15.5%). The other constituents of this oil are also mainly aldehydes and acids
