Abstract
Almost by definition, innovative, sustainable, peaceful economics, technologies, derived services and products have to be developed in an interdisciplinary way: all kinds of bits and parts from less sustainable methods, technologies, services and products have to be reshuffled in new innovative, sustainable and peaceful ways. But initiatives, knowledge, financials and production capacity, distribution and consumption are spread over a lot of people, businesses, institutions and governments. This multi-disciplines, multi-concepts and multi-actors character of these — sometimes World Wide --- problems tends to inertia: every disciple waiting for the other, every expert waitingfor the other, every World Citizen waiting for the other. The Method Holistic Participation (MHP) can offer a break through in this inertia and can activate participants to exploration and development of immediate implementable results. The Method Holistic Participation (MHP) is developed inside the Department of Architecture, Building and Planning, Eindhoven University of
Technology, the Netherlands, by emeritus professor Peter Schmid and already practiced in more then hundred sessions in a broad variety of innovative interdisciplinary issues (P. Schmid & G. Schmid-P’al). The paper ends with section seven: Conclusions and discussion. Could the Method Holistic Participation (MHP) break through the inertia and bring ‘Change’ in the nowadays sometimes paralyzing mix of World Wide natural and economic situations? Wefigure: ‘Yes we can!’
